February 2013 - Trans 101  Sharon Brackett of Gender Rights Maryland, leads our discussion on transgender issues including basic terms and answer general questions.

January 2013 - Movie Night:  Two-spirited.  Story of a Native American youth caught between tradition and controversy, sex and spirit, and freedom and fear. 

December 2012 - Baltimore County PFLAG Annual Holiday Party.  Time to reflect on this past year and share hopes for the 2013.

November 2012 - Movie night : Anyone & Everyone.  Parents of LGBT youth share their stories of when their children came out and the struggles they encountered. Group discussion follows the movie.

October 2012 - We need your Vote:  Visit by an election judge and discussion on voter education and the upcoming elections

September 2012 - "We wanna get Married"  A panel discussion where several LGBT partners share why marriage should be for all and what rights will be gained with the passing of the Civil Marriage Protection Act.

August 2012 - Baltimore County PFLAG annual picnic.  Time to make visit with old friends and make some new ones.

July 2012 - Everything you need to know & do to help Marriage Equality in Maryland.  Panel and group discussions what individual can do the support Marriage Equality efforts.

June 2012 - Bisexuality: Dr. Paula Pratt, Assistant Professor at Coppin State University joined us to share information and perspectives about this interesting topic.

May 2012 - Harvey Milk Day:  Tony Teano shared a biographical look at Harvey Milk as compared how Hollywood depicts this LGBT icon.

March 2012 -- Baltimore County Councilman Tom Quirk, author of the "Human Relations Act" legislation joins us to discuss the bill and efforts in Baltimore County to address  LGBT concerns.

January 2012 --  Movie Night : Don't Ask/Don't Tell.  Discussion followed the film


December 2011 --  Carrie Evans, director at Equality Maryland, joined us for a discussion on the upcoming Legislative session and the efforts being planned for this session including Gender Rights and Marriage Equality.

November 2011 -- Hilary Howes of Gender Rights Maryland shared information on upcoming actions being discussed for the upcoming year and the upcoming Maryland General Assembly session.

October 2011 -- Michael Falk, of John Hopkins University facilitated discussion with JHU students and guest on Campus Life at JHU in 2011.

September 2011 -- Marc Adams, author of the book "It's Not about You" & "Preacher's Son" shared his life experiences and  his outreach mission "HeartStrong Inc"

August 2011 -- Movie "Stories of Some of Our Lives" followed by group discussion.

July 2011 -- Second Annual Summer Picnic and Social

June 2011 -- Lisa Polyak, board member of Equality Maryland discusses direction of EM for this coming year.

May 2011 --  Dr. Ken Morgan, his partner Sam Westrick & their two children talk about gay parenting & family building from their perspectives.

September 2010 -- Understanding Gender Identity and Transgender people, panel presentation with Mara Drummond, Catherine Hyde, Will Hyde and Juli A. Buchanan, Psy.D.

August 2010 -- “Let’s Get Together and Talk” Parents of LGBT children viewed the movie “For the Bible Tells Me So,” and talked with an ecumenical panel of clergy about ministering to LGBT congregants.

July 2010 -- First Annual Summer Picnic and Social

June 2010 -- PFLAG participated in the Baltimore Pride Festival and Parade

March 2010 -- Panel discussion with Buddhist, Unitarian, Catholic, Mormon, Jewish, and Presbyterian representatives and clergy to discuss the interaction between religious organizations and the LGBT Community.

February 2010 -- David Hall, Development Director from SLDN (Service Members Legal Defense Network) and former U.S. Air Force Staff Sergeant who was discharged under the military’s “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy told his personal story and gave us an update on the status of the DADT repeal.

January 2010 -- Sister Jeanine Gramick presented her documentary: “In Good Conscience” followed by a question and answer period.

January 2010 -- Morgan Meneses Sheets, Director of Equality Maryland spoke in preparation for Lobby Day 2010. This exciting and practical application grassroots organizing is an effective effort to engage the LGBT community and their parents, and friends in speaking directly to our law makers.


December 2009 -- Fist Annual Holiday Party and Social & Author Josh Aterovis read from his Killian Kendall mystery series and signed books to and enthusiastic crowd.

November 2009 -- The initail meeting of Rainbow Youth Alliance of Baltimore County was held.

October 2009 -- PFLAG organizes two busloads of supporters to march in The National Equality March.

September 2009 -- “How to Confront Homophobic Language,” presented by Joan Garrity

August 2009 -- “Bullying in the Baltimore County School System,” presented by Darryl Hunter who is affiliated with both the Baltimore County School System and the Baltimore County Police Department.

July 2009 -- “Why Reparative Therapy Doesn’t Work,” Chris Camp spoke about his experience with a religious deprogramming group

June 2009 -- PFLAG participated in the Washington DC Pride Parade and the Baltimore Pride Festival
